EKS and School Introduction
We have been very busy here at Shizuoka Eiwa in the past few weeks. As well as students returning to classes, we have also had some important events that have been held at the school and on-line.

On June 13th, we held the first EKS (Eiwa Kids School) event of the year. For the first time ever, we held an on-line English conversation class as part of the EKS event.

Jean held one class and I held the other. Many students from the fourth, fifth and sixth grades of elementary school took part in both classes and both Jean and I were very impressed by the student’s English abilities.

Then on June 20th, we held our school introduction event. This event was held at the school in the chapel, with special measure taken in light of the recent coronavirus situation. At the school introduction, students from elementary school were introduced to our school and watched videos about life at Eiwa. The students were also able to listen to me talk to a student from the first grade of senior high about her life at Eiwa.

At was great to see so many people at our recent events. I hope that everyone who came enjoyed their time at Eiwa and I sincerely hope that we will see you again in the future.
