English News Updates
Hello everyone, my name is Stuart Fletcher and I am the new native English teacher at Eiwa Jogakuin. I wanted to take the chance to introduce myself and let you know about the upcoming updates to the English news section of the website.

Firstly, allow me to introduce myself. As you know my name is Stuart. I was born in London and came to Japan six years ago. Before I came to Japan I was a social studies teacher in an English senior high school. After coming to Japan, I worked as an ALT at Shizuoka High School for five years. In my free time I like to read, watch movies and listen to classical music. I am an avid runner and took park in the Shizuoka marathon in 2018. I want to help the students at Eiwa achieve their dreams and I hope to use this section of the website to report about the students’ achievements in the future.

I intend to use the English news section of the website as a diary as well as a learning blog for students. I will write reports of various school events as has been done in the past. However, I will also write articles for students to read and provide links to interesting websites and news items that I hope will motivate students to study English even more.

Please keep an eye out for updates on this section of the website and feel free to check any of the links that I post. You can also talk to me anytime you see me at school or at school events.

Kindest Regards
Stuart Fletcher
