It’s almost Easter!
Everyone knows that Christmas is December 25th, but when is Easter? Well, that’s actually a difficult question to answer. Easter’s date is connected to the moon, so the date changes every year. This year it will be celebrated on this Sunday, April 17.
On Monday we enjoyed decorating the English Café with some symbols of Easter, such as eggs. Eggs represent new life, so they are a popular decoration as well as food at Easter. On Saturday Eiwa will hold an Easter service in the morning, and all the new students will be given a decorated boiled egg to take home and eat. Best wishes to everyone at Eiwa at Eastertime.
