Welcome Back!
Can you believe we’ve almost been back a whole two weeks? April has moved very fast but we still have many things to do.
On April 7th we welcomed our new junior and senior high first graders. The students are all doing well in adjusting to their new school and are hopefully making lots of new friends. I have enjoyed my classes with the new students so far and I am looking forward to our future classes.
This week we also had the registration for the first EIKEN test of the year. The tests will be held in May and the students are already working very hard to pass the tests. I’m sure they will do their best.
This week we will hold our annual English Recitation Contest for Junior High students and we will also have our first English Day of the year.
We also had the first meeting of our new English Circle this week too. Students from the senior high classes came to play some games, listen to some music and talk with Jean and me.
I am looking forward to the rest of the school year. I hope that our students can do their best in many different English activities and that they can enjoy speaking English as much as possible.
