4月からニュージーランドに5か月留学している高校2年生の生徒からお便りが届きました。

New Zealand is in winter now and it is very cold. It doesn't snow, but the wind is very strong. But the night sky is very beautiful. I was able to see the Southern Cross, which can only be seen in the Southern Hemisphere.

The other day, I went to a Chinese restaurant with my host family. The ramen was very delicious. I learn Maori at school once a week. Haka is very difficult, but it's very interesting. I am now having a lot of fun with friends I made. I only have 3 months left, so I want to spend every day to the fullest.

日本とは季節が逆のNZを満喫していますね。ラーメンも食べちゃったの！！
マオリ（イギリス人が来る前からNZに住んでいた先住民族の方々）についても学校で習っているのね。帰国したら教えてね。
