¡Uniform
Uniform: The sailor style uniform of Eiwa was created in the beginning of the 1920s under the strong recommendation of Miss O. C. Lindsey, the school principal at that time. The original design can be seen in the sailor uniform adopted by the YWCA in Canada for its "love and knowledge" educational movement. The wish embodied in that sailor uniform has been carried over to the modern-day Eiwa uniform and sets our students apart as dedicated to education and friendship.
¡Volunteer Activities
We have several volunteer activities as we believe volunteer work is good for developing a sense of service to others.
Flower Day visit: On Flower Day, students visit nursing homes with flowers from the Flower Day service at school. This encourages the significance of giving something to people who are shut in. Thanksgiving Day visit: For Thanksgiving Day, students visit childrens' homes with the fruits and vegetables dedicated at the Thanksgiving service.
¡Exchange Program
An exchange program with Yongan School (Korea): Eiwa students can experience various exchange program with Yongan School in Korea, a Christian school. Four exchange students from California: They posed for the photograph in Japanese kimono.
